BIOTOPIX® PHOTO PROTECT® is a novel concept based on the necessity of using full-spectrum photoprotection, especially as regards to the damage caused to the skin not only by UVR, but also by visible light and IR radiation. Following this concept, the investigators in charge of formulating BIOTOPIX® PHOTO PROTECT® products have developed on the same bases two creams which offer strict protection against UVA, UVB, visible light and IR radiation, but also permit DNA repair, this latter being damaged by all these radiations. BIOTOPIX® PHOTO PROTECT® Cream SPF 30 include a combination of five chemical UV filters for the protection of skin. Visible Light Protection Properties - As a protector against visible light we have incorporated in our formula an original synthetic melanin. This synthetic, fractionated melanin is tailored to absorb in the violet/blue range of 400-500 nm.
